About this project
The Problem
Users often need immediate technical assistance but face challenges with traditional support channels. They require a tool that can provide instant, accurate solutions in an easy-to-understand format.
The Solution
ORO Buddy App was built as an intelligent, self-service troubleshooting platform. It uses a conversational AI to guide users through diagnostic steps and provides a comprehensive, admin-managed knowledge base. This reduces the burden on human support teams and empowers users to solve problems independently.
My Role & Responsibilities
Role: Full-Stack Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Architected the full-stack application using Next.js 15, Firebase, and Genkit.
- Developed the conversational AI interface and integrated Google's Gemini model.
- Built the complete admin-facing CMS for managing users and troubleshooting guides.
- Implemented secure, role-based authentication and Firestore security rules to protect user and admin data.
- Ensured the application is a fully-functional PWA, optimized for both desktop and mobile use.
- Engineered non-blocking database operations to maintain a fast and responsive UI.
